Cette semaine on s'occupe de nos tablettes de contreplaqué, appelées teita [téita], ainsi que nos pinceaux à laque.
La dernière couche est appliquée sur les pinceaux, alors que la première se pose sur les teita.
Nous commençons également à travailler sur des bols en bois brut, où l'on mets une première couche de laque.
Concernant le temps printanier ici, cela n'a rien à voir avec ce dont j'ai l'habitude en France.
Jusqu'aux alentours de mi-mai, j'ai continué à porter mon manteau et mon écharpe, au vu du vent et des températures n'excédant pas les 15°C.
Le 8 Mai, il est même tombé quelques centimètres de neige, qui ont perduré pendant deux jours !
Parfois les températures sont agréables, mais le vent frais, voir froid, me fait garder mes épaisseurs.
Côté pluie, elle est régulièrement là et apporte avec elle son taux d'humidité. Sauf quand il a neigé, l'hygrométrie n'a pas vraiment atteins l'intérieur de mon appartement, mais il semblerait que cela ne saurait tarder.
Au vu de vos retours, je conserve donc ce format : étude de la laque et détails sur le Japon.

This week we are sanding our plywood shelves, called teita [téita], and our lacquer brushes.
The last coat is applied to the brushes, while the first coat is applied to the teita.
The whole thing will be dried and then lightly sanded.
We also start working on raw wooden bowls, where we put a first coat of lacquer.
As for the spring weather here, it is nothing like what I am used to in France.
Until around mid-May, I continued to wear my coat and scarf, because of the wind and the temperatures not exceeding 15°C.
On the 8th of May, a few centimetres of snow even fell, which lasted for two days!
Sometimes the temperatures are pleasant, but the fresh, even cold wind makes me keep my layers on.
As for the rain, it is regularly there and brings with it its humidity level. Except when it snowed, the hygrometry didn't really reach the inside of my flat, but it seems that it will soon.
In view of your feedback, I am keeping this format: study of the lacquer and details on Japan.

今週は、テイタ[téita]と呼ばれる合板の棚板と、ラッカーの刷毛をサンディングしています。
筆には最後の塗りを、テイタには最初の塗りを施しています。
全体を乾燥させ、軽くやすりがけをします。
生木のお椀も、漆を塗るところから始めます。
春の気候は、フランスとは全く違います。
5月中旬頃までは、風が強く、気温も15℃を超えないので、コートとマフラーを着続けていました。
5月8日には数センチの雪が降り、それが2日間も続きました！
気温が高くても、冷たい風が吹いているときは、重ね着をすることがあります。
雨に関しては、定期的に降り、湿度も持ってきます。雪が降ったとき以外は、湿度は私のアパートの中まで届きませんでしたが、そろそろ届きそうです。
皆さんのご意見を参考に、漆の研究、日本での詳細という形式をとっています。
